All things smoothie


Asalamu alaykum. I’m back again. Alhamdulillah.
This one is for you, for when eating fruits and veggies become a chore but you still need to be strong and healthy.  

Beet and Carrot Juice
Ingredients:
1 medium sized beet root,
3 to 5 Carrots,   
1 lime





Directions:
Blend or juice the beet root first then add carrots. Pour into a glass then squeeze your lime on top. Watch out for the seeds.

Benefits:
Beet root
  • Beets juice can be used to cleanse our blood, liver and colon.
  • Drinking beet juice regularly will help relieve chronic constipation.
  • Iron in beets help to regenerate the red blood cells
  • Helps to metabolize fat
  • Beets can energize you
  • Helps to normalize blood pressure, lowering high blood pressure or elevating low blood pressure.


Carrots
  • Inclusion of raw carrots in daily diet can lower cholesterol thus preventing heart diseases
  • Eating fiber rich carrots reduce the risk of colon cancer
  • Carrot juice helps to eliminate excess fluids from the body, reducing water retention, especially for women during their monthly menstruation cycle and in pregnant women.
  • Boosts the immune system by increasing the production and performance of white blood cells; helping to build resistance to various kinds of infections.
  • Carrot juice nourishes the skin, preventing dry skin, psoriasis and other skin blemishes.

Lime
  • Helps fight bacterial infections
  • Detoxify your system
  • Lime contains Potassium, which is important for maintaining nerve function and healthy blood pressure levels.
  • Helps in the management of sickle cell symptoms



Ginger Surprise




Ingredients:
 
1 large Apple
5 medium Carrots
1 Ginger Root

Directions:
Blend or juice all ingredients at once. Mix well and serve.

Carrots
  •         Nourishes the skin
  •    lowers cholesterol
  •    Relieves bloating
